I just have to say… this community is incredible. ❤️

I made a goofy post this morning about baking bread in triple-digit heat with no AC, mostly just trying to laugh through it.

I never expected so many messages from people asking if they could come help fix it, offering advice, checking in on us, and even dropping off a portable AC unit for us to use until ours is repaired.

It reminded me that this little bread page has become so much more than sourdough. It’s a community of kind, generous people who genuinely care about one another.

Thank you for supporting my little bakery, but even more, thank you for reminding me that good people are everywhere. Your kindness means more than you know. ❤️

Now this little guy is standing guard over our “new” AC like it’s the most exciting thing he’s ever seen. 😂❄️

🥵🌞 Today’s forecast: 100° outside… approximately 847° in my kitchen. 😂

It’s bake day over here at Flour & Water, which means while everyone else is trying to stay out of the heat… I’m voluntarily standing in front of a blazing hot oven. 🤪🍞

If you see me looking a little extra crispy at pickups, markets, or in general mind your business. 😂 The bread will be perfectly golden, but your baker might be slightly toasted. 🥵

Send all the iced coffee, cold drinks, and good vibes my way today! ❤️ Now excuse me while I go make your sourdough in what feels like the surface of the sun. ☀️🔥

Fresh bread is worth it… even if I melt a little. 😉🍞
