Dead Squirrel Bar & Grill

10/03/2026

It has been a crazy busy week at the Dead Squirrel, and we have added some upgrades to our kitchen with new lighting on our pizza prep table

We added a buck board for deer gun hunting with a $5 entry, each person signed up and to win the prizes must come in and get a picture with their buck and you will also receive a free drink.

Halloween and Hometown Holiday at the Dead Squirrel are all planned and anything you have seen in the past is nothing like you will see coming up at the Dead Squirrel 😊 stay tuned.

We also added two new tvs and they are up and running including the outside one. So many exciting things happening here and for our customers. Thank you all for your support and business!

This might have been a prank, but we know who you are. At 9:56pm last night one of our cameras was manipulated and the view was tampered with. Please do not mess with security cameras at any business or home because it is a Wisconsin criminal offense statute 943.01 and 943.20 and is a crime. If you dont want to get prosecuted or charged with a misdemeanor or a felony please respect other people's property and their business. Thank you

As I look at my previous post about the trees changing colors as the season changes, unfortunately so does life. It takes us in many different directions, has so many twists and turns, some good, and some into the unknown. I have been trying to gather the right words to post all week, but everytime I do I erase it thinking it is not good enough.

(With her permission) It is with deep sadness that I announce Brooklyn our beloved worker, manager, customer favorite and a friend will be leaving to move out of state. We cannot say enough good things about Brooklyn as she has been here the last 4 yrs and became our manager when I bought the place in August last year. As a worker I cannot say enough good things about her, her work ethic, behind the scenes work, making sure things were in line and keeping me in check (which has happened one or twice 😇).

From a personal standpoint this is even more difficult for me to post and procress as she became one of my best friends outside of work. She is such an amazing person in so many ways and there will always be a job waiting for her at the Dead Squirrel. Her last day is Oct 22nd so make sure you come in and see her before she leaves! We love you Brooklyn

Update Brooklyn wanted me to let you know she doesnt have Facebook access at this time, due to her getting a phone. We have been showing her the messages from you guys
