Dearest Friends,
This post is painful to make but necessary π. As you may know, my partner and I have always focused the business around transparency. We strive to be honest with our customers as we have always asked for you to be honest with us. Unfortunately, due to a recent medial diagnosis, I am no longer able to give our beloved mobile coffee shop the time and energy it deserves. With the upcoming busy season right around the corner, I have made the difficult decision to re-home (sell) the business.
For the past 2 1/2 years, my partner and I have been traveling far and wide brewing Commonplace Coffee for all our lovely customers. We have venture into, through, and around the city of Pittsburgh to bring you a delicious cup of joy. We have done festivals, farmers markets, weddings, appreciate weeks, etc.. and all because our customers chose us π«Άπ½.
The highlight of this adventure has been getting to meet so many wonderful humans while watching many of them transform from customers into friends. Never would I have ever anticipated such a warm welcoming from the coffee community when we started on this adventure.
We appreciate those who have reached out already to book for the 2026 year. While we would hate to leave yinz hanging, we will still be operating as normal until we find new owners. Once the weather breaks, we will be scheduling and releasing events on a bi-monthly basis. All of course pending health conditions.
Thank you for your compassion and understanding. We apologize for contributing to these times on uncertainty but promise to continue with transparency through this transition. π€π
