For the Veterans Day celebration cooking competition at SLCC Culinary School my team did a Cream soup with ginger root....

For the Veterans Day celebration cooking competition at SLCC Culinary School my team did a Cream soup with ginger root. The mystery ingredient was MREs and so I took one of the MRE packets and put it with some butter , heavy cream , spices and made like the cheese sauce with the smoked flat bread. Then they gave me access to a smoker and so I did smoke chicken kabobs wrapped in bacon with zucchini, peppers and mushrooms National Guard
