One last hoorah! ❤️
Hey Glen Cove! This is Parash from While in Kathmandu.
With heavy hearts, I wanted to share that this weekend will be our final weekend operating as While in Kathmandu and serving our current menu.
Glen Cove welcomed us with so much love, and we’ve genuinely enjoyed becoming a small part of this community. Unfortunately, we’ve also had to accept that our current concept and format haven’t become sustainable enough for this location.
But we’re not giving up on Glen Cove.
Instead, we’re taking everything we’ve learned and reintroducing the restaurant as Delhi to Kathmandu — Indian & Himalayan Kitchen.
The new concept will offer a more familiar Indian food format alongside Himalayan favorites — curries, tikka masala, momo, chow mein, grills and more — while still keeping the personality and flavors we love.
We’re hopeful this next chapter gives the restaurant a stronger foundation and allows us to continue serving Glen Cove for years to come.
But before that chapter begins, we want to give While in Kathmandu one last proper send-off.
If you’ve loved our current menu, have a favorite dish, or have been meaning to visit us again, come see us one last time this weekend. ❤️
