This is a Happy, yet a Sad Day
I just wanted to thank each and every one of you for your continued business over the last 20+ years. From the present customers, all the way back to my customers that have passed.
As I sit here gazing out over my dining room and bar room, I just think about all of the fun memories of laughing, talking, joshing and eating all of the sweets that you have brought me over the years. Also joking about the many e-mails that I sent out and enjoying all of your comments about my neck ties. And, not to forget all of the travels that many of you have joined Carol and I on.
Thank you to my wife who can jump right in and do anything. From her creativity on menu ideas all the way down to cleaning the floors.
Thank you to my employees. If it wasn't for them Nardo's Passport Inn wouldn't be what it is today. From the employees that have worked for me for 16, 17, 18, 19 or even 20+ years all the way to the employees who got their first job ever at the age of 14 and kept working for me until you moved away to college.
Thank you to my families all the way back to 1996 when Carol and I bought Nardo's Passport Inn and went through the initial remolding phases to the present time whereas my sister promotes Nardo's Passport Inn on Facebook.com which didn't even exist 20 years ago.
Each and every one of you are not just customers, you are part of an extended "Nardo" family.
I will truly miss everyone at Nardo's Passport Inn.

Remember when Nardo's was the Edelweiss Inn Restaurant?

Long ago the Knies Family were the proud owner's of a favorite German restaurant here in Germantown. You almost thought they were directly off the boat from the "Sound of Music". Stay tuned as they are going full circle in the restaurant business.

We are pleased to announce the change to Big Sky Country Restaurant. Some of you already know them from the Wisconsin State Fair!

Eric Schroeder and Kevin Riley have been owners and operators of Big Sky Country at Wisconsin State Fair for the past 3 years. In March they take over Nardo's with over 45 years of combined experience in the bar and restaurant field.
