I wanted to hop on here and thank you all for your kind messages of encouragement, supplies off my classroom wishlist (thank you thank you thank you), and the patience & support as I transition into full-time teaching and part-time baking. I truly miss seeing you all on the weekends and my house not smelling like peaches and cinnamon. But I will say this after my first week of students, I am genuinely hopeful and excited for what's to come. I have had the privilege of meeting some really great kiddos. I know that not everyone dreams of becoming a chef or goes on to do so, but the knowledge and skills we will be learning here are ones that these students will carry with them into their college dorms, first apartments, and home eventually. Learning how to cook a basic meal for yourself is a life skill that can't be taken away, and only gets better and better with time. If nothing else, I hope throughout the year for my classes to form good camaraderie & connections with peers they may not have met otherwise, and may even surprise themselves by uncovering skills they didn't know they had. I'm already seeing that and I can see how rewarding this profession can be.

Hi everyone, in case you haven't already heard, I'm unable to accept custom orders right now. I officially started my new position this week! I am taking these next few weeks to focus on my students and my family getting adjusted to our new schedules. I promise I WILL post once I am able to accept new orders and when my next pop-up will be. There is a lot happening right now immediately followed by traveling to Corpus to compete in the Texas Food Championship next month (I need to also start preparing for that as well). I appreciate all the inquiries and wanting to support local, I can't wait to serve y'all again soon!

Y'all truly are the best & I'm so grateful to serve each and everyone of you! Not to brag, but our community knows how to show up and support it's small businesses 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I am so hopeful for the future of this micro-bakery. Thank you for supporting my family and dream.
