hello all! sorry we have not been very active on FB this past year... there have been some life changing events taking us in many directions and keeping us quite busy! We feel it's definitely time to bring all you loyal friends and followers up to speed with Green Bee Farms progress and plans... We are still Green Bee Farms, and still love and are involved with agriculture... but, we had a life changing decision to make...

We sold our beautiful hydroponic farm late last year to a young couple hoping to begin their own dream of owning a farm. As farmers, it's definitely not a job but a lifestyle. You are tied to your farm (plants and animals) and unless you have a trustworthy farmhand to look after things, vacations and exploring this awesome world are not something we were able to do. Being that my wife and I were owners and the only employees on the farm, there was never a day off for us... and with 2 young children and half our family on the other side of the world, we felt we needed a little break.

We purchased a motor home, and began traveling the US. We visited many farms and agricultural areas during our travels and are learning so much about how others farm in different regions of the country produce, market, and distribute their products. We do plan on purchasing a farm or some more land and starting all over again in the future, but for now it is an educational vacation for us and our children. We are currently in Europe traveling and exploring different countries for the entire summer and seeing how agriculture is in some ways the same...but in some aspects totally different than in the states. It is really opening our eyes to possibilities for our always evolving future as farmers.

When we return to the states we are headed to northern California/ Oregon area to work with a multiple farm operation and learn some new and innovative techniques in the agriculture industry. We are very excited to begin growing again!

Thank you all so much for your support over the years, and we will be sure to keep you updated with posts and pictures during our journey. 🌱😁🌱
