The beginning of May is a celebration time in Poland. Labor Day (May 1st), the Day of the Flag (May 2nd) another Constitution Day (May 3rd). What a better way to celebrate than with a freshly baked loaf. The taste of each bite takes me back home… 🥰

Sourdough bread! I have never imagined I will miss it so much! Growing up it was a staple for every breakfast and dinner. Now it’s a special treat we get every time we visit Poland.
I’m happy to see it become more popular and available at the stores recently, but there’s nothing like homemade! With basic ingredients and made with care.
Now available at Dough Re Mi! As a loaf or as ‘freestyle’ rectangular rolls with or without seeds!

Easter is almost here. I have been baking traditional Polish Easter cakes for my family every year. This year I'm so excited to be able to bake for you too!
Let's celebrate with fresh home made poppy seed roll (in Polish: makowiec), soft and fluffy Easter Baba (airy yeast bundt bread), sweet vanilla bundt cake or crunchy and fruity meringues (mini pavlovas)!

They will be ready for pick-up at my home in Frisco, Tx, on Good Friday April 3rd (on Easter Saturday we Poles take these yummies in our baskets to church for blessing, together with eggs, ham, bread, salt, pepper, horseradish and some chocolate bunnies ;)
or, for my Orthodox freidns, on Good Friday April 10th or Easter Saturday, April 11th.
If the suggested dates don't work, please message me and I'll do my best to make it work.
