🚨 PLEASE DO NOT USE CHEMICALS TO WASH YOUR PRODUCE!

Whether this was created for entertainment or not, it’s still important to share this reminder that it can be extremely dangerous to wash your produce with chemicals to avoid this rampant cyclospora. This is right up there with washing your proteins before cooking.

Whether you’re spreading chemical residue or pathogens, it’s all dangerous. 🦠 Food safety knowledge is critical.

Got questions❓ Drop them below.👇🏼 Don’t forget to share this!

The headlines are scary. Your response doesn’t have to be.

Cyclospora is a foodborne parasite that’s currently being investigated in multiple states. It can cause prolonged watery diarrhea, fatigue, bloating, and abdominal cramping, and symptoms may not show up for 1–2 weeks after exposure.

What I’m doing:

âś” Wash produce under running water.
âś” Scrub fruits and vegetables with firm skins.
âś” Peel when possible.
✔ Cook vegetables when appropriate—heat is the most reliable way to kill Cyclospora.
âś” Support healthy digestion and gut function every day.

No one can eliminate every risk, but we can make choices that support our health without living in fear.

Some seasons of life make gratitude feel easy.

Others require you to look a little harder.

I’ve learned that gratitude isn’t pretending everything is perfect. It’s choosing to recognize the blessings that still exist—even while you’re healing, grieving, waiting, or rebuilding.

Today, take 30 seconds to notice one thing that’s still good.

Your heart (and your nervous system) will thank you.

What are you grateful for today? Share one thing below. 👇

I’ll go first: I’m grateful to live in a country where it’s incredibly easy to get to a different climate - different scenery.

Everyone wants to talk about food triggers…

But almost no one talks about weather.

One of the first things I have many of my clients start tracking isn’t just what they eat—it’s humidity.

For some people with MCAS, POTS, dysautonomia, and other chronic inflammatory conditions, humid days can mean:
• More fatigue
• Feeling like it’s harder to breathe
• Brain fog
• Feeling “off” for no obvious reason

When you understand your triggers, you stop blaming your body and start making better decisions for it.

Sometimes that means exercising earlier in the day.
Sometimes it means running a dehumidifier.
Sometimes it means prioritizing hydration and electrolytes.
And sometimes it simply means giving yourself permission to work with your body instead of fighting against it.

Healing isn’t about perfection.

It’s about understanding the patterns your body has been trying to show you all along.

👇 Have you ever noticed your symptoms get worse when the humidity climbs? Tell me what condition you’re managing and whether you’ve made the connection yet.

Comment “HUMID” if you’d like my favorite tools for keeping indoor humidity under control.

Gallbladder removed? The surgery may have been the beginning of a new chapter—not the end of the story.

Your gallbladder isn’t “just another organ.”

It stores and concentrates bile so your body can efficiently digest fats, absorb nutrients, and eliminate waste.

For some people, life after gallbladder removal is smooth.

For others, the symptoms don’t start until months or years later:
✨ Bloating
✨ Loose stools after fatty meals
✨ Difficulty digesting fats
✨ Fat-soluble vitamin deficiencies
✨ Feeling like food “doesn’t sit right”

No one told me any of this.

I wish they had.

If you’ve had your gallbladder removed (or know someone who has), comment BILE and I’ll send you my checklist of what to know afterward.

This photo was taken before everything changed.
At 24, I was told I was “fine.”

The only thing anyone talked about was my cholesterol—and the recommendation was lifelong medication.

No one stopped to ask why.

In the years that followed, I underwent emergency gallbladder surgery and later a hysterectomy.

Those experiences changed the trajectory of my life and ultimately led me to dedicate my career to helping others look deeper.

I’ve learned that “normal” doesn’t always mean you’re thriving, and prescriptions aren’t the only conversation worth having.

Your symptoms deserve curiosity.

Your body deserves to be understood.

And you deserve to be your own best advocate.

Don’t settle for “you’re fine” if you know something feels off.

👇🏼Have you ever been told your labs were “normal,” but you knew something wasn’t right? Tell me your story below. ❤️

For years, I thought I just had to “try harder.”

Eat cleaner.
Take more supplements.
Push through the fatigue.

What I didn’t realize was that my genetics could influence how efficiently my body handles environmental toxins. That understanding changed how I approached my health.

Your genes are not your destiny—but they can help explain why two people exposed to the same environment may not respond the same way.

Sometimes the goal isn’t to live in a perfectly toxin-free world (because that’s impossible). It’s to better understand your body and support the systems that help it adapt.

If this sounds familiar, comment DETOX and I’ll send you the information that helped me better understand my own body.

Everyone is talking about how to calm mast cells.

Almost no one is talking about what happens to your digestion along the way.

I’ve had countless conversations with people in the MCAS community who say they developed heartburn, early fullness, or felt like food just “sat” in their stomach after starting cromolyn or increasing antihistamines.

That doesn’t mean these medications are bad—they can be absolutely life-changing.

But your body still needs healthy digestion to absorb nutrients and support one of your first lines of immune defense.

Sometimes the next step isn’t more medication…it’s making sure your digestive system has the support it needs.

If this sounds familiar, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

👇 Comment DISCOVERY if you’re ready to learn how I help my clients support their digestion while managing histamine issues.
