Alright everyone, please mark your calendars for September 12th for a Relay for Life event Benefiting the American Cancer Society! This event will be held in Kokomo at the Howard County Courthouse from 12-9pm. I will be setting up a booth full of goodies, so you dont want to miss out! There will also be food trucks, live music, craft vendors, and more!

This cause is special to me and hits close to home- as some of you know the reasoning behind the name 11:11 Sweets & Treats. For those of you who don’t, I named my business after my Grandma Mel, born 11-11-1963. In late 2009, she was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. That same day, she was in a very bad car accident, which ultimately weakened her body, and the cancer spread. She was called home in May 2010, and in the years following(and still to this day), we would find a dime and penny, always together, in the most random spots. Parking lots, under car seats, at the gas pump, etc. And it feels like everytime we glance at the clock, it reads 11:11🤍

I was so honored when Debbie and Sherri reached out to me, asking me to be a part of this amazing event. It just felt like another sign from my grandma, letting me know she is with me every step of the way.

I will be donating 50% of all sales back to this event and would love to make as big of an impact as possible-and that takes all of you! So please, consider stopping by and showing your support for this amazing cause!
