During an outbreak of the plague a monk named Arnold, who had established a monastery in Oudenburg, persuaded people to drink beer in place of water and when they did, the plague disappeared. Arnold spent his holy life warning people about the dangers of drinking water. Beer was safe, and “from man’s sweat and God’s love, beer came into the world,” he would say.

We celebrate local wineries and vendors with a great day in the park, complete with 3 live music artists and a bevy of food trucks and tasty treats to pair with your wine samples. Be sure to grab your ticket to sample all the delicious Colorado wines and meads that will be offered!

The Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Southern Colorado - PACCSoCo will be celebrating the Heritage Month* on May 23, Saturday, 11am to 5pm, along Woodmen Road (Briargate Area).

There will be food trucks, tent food vendors, non-food vendors, professionals, creatives, and non-profit organizations.
