Talk about catering adrenaline! 😅✨
We had the absolute honor of catering an evening reception for an amazing group of executives and CEOs last night . On paper, the event was scheduled for 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, but behind the scenes was a whole different story!
Because the venue had an earlier event, our official setup window was squeezed into just ONE hour. Cue the catering anxiety! 😩 Thankfully, showing up early paid off—the venue manager recognized us and kindly let us unload our equipment and access the kitchen ahead of time. What a blessing! 🙏
At 5:00 PM, we hit the ground running. Then at 5:15 PM, the event coordinator popped in: “Guests will start arriving by 5:30.”
I gave a very calm, polite, internal-screaming “...Nooo” in a soft voice! 😆
With incredible hustle and God’s grace, we were 100% styled, and ready by 5:50 PM—just five minutes before the first guests arrived at 5:55 PM.
In honor and celebration of Filipino American History Month, we featured bright, bold Filipino flavors highlighted by fresh calamansi:
✨ Mini crab cakes paired with house-made Calamansi Aioli
✨ Filipino-style BBQ chicken bites finished with a sweet & tangy Calamansi Glaze
Seeing everyone devour every bite made the high-speed sprint completely worth it! Another beautiful event in the books. 🇵🇭🍽️🥂
