Alchemy Pops has been a fun and flavorful adventure! 2020 isn't what anyone expected, and while closing the pop shop isn't my favorite thing ever, it's still an opportunity to continue to spread sunshine and smiles. And we're spending our final Saturday in celebration of the Weekend of Watermelon! The Pop Shop will be open from 12-7pm on Saturday, August 1st - and that's it.
All of the time and energy, heat and hardship, and laughter and love that has gone into this magical business has been so incredibly worthwhile. I have truly cherished all of you who have supported Alchemy Pops.

Going live on Wednesday mornings from my Happily Ever In Biz account to discuss my Recipe for Resilience this summer to create the Summer of (Biz) Love that I want, even in the midst of shutting down the pop shop 🧡 Highlights of this (somewhat rambling) video include:
1) barely making it a morning post by sharing at 11:45 am 😂 but made the cutoff LOL
2) seems fitting on the mid-point of the year, I want to reclaim the midpoint of the week to introduce more structure and accountability into my life by inviting you to virtually join me - I think together is better than alone 🥰
3) highlighting the beautiful art creation of Katie Cooper Drew who has been a featured artist in the pop shop during a Third Thursday Art Walk last year.
4) I'll continue to go live on Wednesday mornings in July, and if you have anything you'd like to ask or would like to share, please feel free to send a message or comment because feedback is important and this is a two-way street 🚗 (side note: I really, really wish the car emoji was orange, but oh well)

📣 Our Square site is up-to-date 📣 so you can order your pops for pick up/curbside, snag some merch (do you need a popsicle piñata, maybe a new summer tank top?) or just scope out the options for when you want to #popby the new walk-up service at the front of the pop shop! I'm doing my best to get a variety back on the menu, and planning to have Honey Cream Lavender and Grapefruit Hibiscus back next weekend 🙌 Please note that we are only open from 12-7pm on Saturdays and Sundays up until our final Saturday on August 1st. Thank you sooo much to everyone who has come by today on our first day open since the our world changed, and incredibly grateful for all of you ordering for your offices, drive by birthdays, and stocking up your freezers! We have rolling coolers you can rent with dry ice if you need to pass out pops :)

📣 Opening + Closing, y’all 📣
Since 2015, Alchemy Pops has been my fun experiment, my magical mixture of culinary and community. I would sign up for this crazy ride all over again if I could, but it’s time to say goodbye. Alchemy Pops will open to the public for 🕔 weekends only 🕔 in June and July (starting June 6th!), so I’m inviting you to celebrate all the sunshine, smiles and summertime up until our final Saturday on August 1st when we celebrate our annual Weekend of Watermelon 🍉
Alchemy Pops is and will always be an incredible adventure in flavor and fun and friendships. From birthday parties to kickball tournaments, from baby showers to corporate shindigs, you’ve invited Alchemy Pops into your lives to help you celebrate. And now I’m inviting you to do the same with me.
To be clear, this isn’t a pity party, it’s a pop party! You’re invited to celebrate this summer with me by POPping by the shop (if you feel well and safe doing so), using your gift cards, redeeming your punch cards and celebrating together for our final summer!

A big thank you to Fort Worth Business Press for featuring my new creative project, My Pantry Kitchen, to help stock a pantry in need with each purchase of this digital recipe collection 🧡 While staying at home because of COVID 19, I came up with 19 recipes paired with 19 songs to help you have a pantry kitchen party, and 100% of the purchase price of $4 is used to pay for 19 meals through the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
I came up with this (kinda) culinary publication as an example of one of my favorite quotes, "the difference between a crisis and an adventure is your attitude." So I hope you'll want to make the recipe for a Brownie in a Mug paired with "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely" by the Backstreet Boys, whip up the Pizza Toast recipe while listening to "If I Can't Have You" by Alicia Keys or try your hand at the Fridge Pickles recipe as you enjoy the song "Too Much Time Together" by San Cisco.

Instead of celebrating with a party on our pop shop's 2nd birthday this Saturday, our beloved pop shop will be closing down until we can safely gather together again. For the frozen pops we currently have in inventory, we are setting aside a portion to be donated to nurses and other healthcare professionals on the front line of fighting this pandemic. The rest will be available for sale until it's all gone. If you are healthy and feel safe to come to our shop for curbside pick up, we are inviting you to do so. If you aren't feeling well, are over 60 years old or have any underlying health condition, please do not leave your home.
We will NOT be accepting cash payments, you can pay over the phone by card. You can place an order by calling or texting 817-502-2026 this Friday and Saturday. The shop will be open 12-6pm on Friday, March 20th and 12-6pm on Saturday, March 21st. While closing makes us indescribably sad, we are focusing on the sunshine, smiles and Saturdays ahead, and we hope you are too. It's been such a privilege and a true dream come true to be a part of this amazing community, and this is just one of the chapters in our ongoing story.
