Last of the season💙🥹

We are the proud owners of Snookums Shaved Ice — a mission-driven business empowering young adults with disabilities through meaningful work experience, skills training and social opportunities.

Our biggest goal this summer, was to empower our employees by creating a pathway towards confidence, independence and community, and we have EXCEEDED those goals:

✨Confidence - Having a sense of purpose is something we all want and need, and having the opportunity to learn new skills in an inclusive, supportive environment, grew our employees’ confidence in so many ways this summer.
✨Independence - Many of our employees not only worked their first jobs, or opened their first bank accounts, but also worked independently with other people their age for the first time!
✨Community - We served the North Fort Worth community all summer long, where our employees got to interact with customers, make friends with co-workers and truly experience being a part of their community.

Inclusion rocks! 💙

“Everything is just FUN!!!”

We have loved watching Sarah crack jokes with customers and serve as our “topping queen” for every shaved ice order. She is always the life of the party and has brought so much joy to our team this summer💙
