Another big Cherry-versary! Today marks two years of Tara! We are incredibly lucky to have Tara on our team. She is incredibly multi-talented: she knits, collages, is working on her degree, and manages our inventory and ordering systems. We can’t express what a gift it is to have someone so hard working and gifted behind our bar.

Over the last two years, Tara has been critical to Cherry. She has innovated our storage and organization in ways we honestly didn’t think were possible. We are continuing to grow, yet Tara has kept us stocked on everything we need to run through even our craziest weekends. On top of it all, she balances her school schedule and equally put hard work into her studies. We know doing all of this isn’t easy, and because of that, we are grateful for Tara’s commitment to us for the last two years.

Outside of her work and school based accomplishments, Tara also finds time for her creative endeavors. She loves a little collage night and knitting her friends and family new pieces of their wardrobe. Again, we are so lucky to have someone like Tara on our team. Thank you for two years, Tara!

Today marks 5 years of Cherry, but also, 5 years of Ariel! When we opened our doors in 2021, Ariel was one of the smiling faces welcoming everyone in. Five years later, a lot has changed, but Ariel’s hard work, commitment, and leadership have stayed with us.

When you think of Cherry, know that Ariel has had a hand in every facet of our success. Every barista has been trained by her, from learning how to taste espresso to pouring the perfect latte. Every day, she has shown up with excellence, propelling us to a better Cherry.

This is Ariel’s 5th Cherry-versary, and her final one. We have had the privilege of knowing her for these last few years, but we know we aren’t her home. In June, Ariel and her husband will be making the move back to their home-state, Virginia. While we will miss her deeply, Ariel will always be a part of Cherry. Thank you, Ariel, for 5 amazing years!
