Wow… thank you, Fond du Lac. 💛🍋

Going into this weekend, I honestly expected things to be much slower. Between the county fair and the poor air quality, I wasn’t sure what to expect. On top of that, Goldie was just finishing her makeover, so I prepared for what I thought would be a quieter market.

I also wasn’t planning on bringing my younger helpers out because their health comes first.

You all completely proved me wrong.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by Citrus Cart this weekend. We are so grateful that you continue to choose us week after week.

I do owe an apology to everyone who came looking for our Vietnamese coffee later in the morning. We completely sold out. ☕❤️

The amount we sold is actually pretty normal for us on a good day, especially with so many other places serving coffee. Because of that, I stocked what I thought would be enough. Instead, we had to turn away several people who specifically came looking for Vietnamese coffee after we sold out. I honestly never imagined that would happen, and it’s something I’ll definitely be better prepared for next time.

We also loved seeing so many of you try our specialty drinks! Our new Mango Sticky Rice Matcha was a huge hit, along with our regular matcha menu. Seeing so many of you branch out and try something new is one of my favorite parts of owning this little business.

Every weekend teaches us something new, and this weekend taught me one very important lesson: bring more Vietnamese coffee. 😅

Thank you for your patience, your support, your kind words, and for continuing to support my little family business. Seeing so many familiar faces—and so many new ones—means more to us than you know.

We can’t wait to see you all again next weekend… with LOTS more Vietnamese coffee ready to go! 💚🍋

P.S. We did make the difficult decision to cancel our trip to Menasha today because of the air quality. I’m so sorry to anyone who was planning to stop by. The health of my young helpers has to come first, and I hope you understand. Our thoughts are also with everyone whose homes and communities have been affected by the wildfires. Please stay safe and take care of yourselves. ❤️

We’ve been a little quiet lately! I’ve been under the weather, and today we’re celebrating our daughter’s birthday 🥳🎂, but I wanted to share this before the weekend!

We are so thankful for all the love our Matcha Lattes have been receiving! 💚

Last Saturday, we sold out of both whole milk and oat milk, so we’re coming even more prepared this week… and we’re adding coconut milk as another dairy-free option! 🥥

Hope you all had an AMAZING 4th of July! 🇺🇸❤️

I don’t have any pretty drink photos to share today, but I do have some exciting news…

🎉 Citrus Cart was accepted into our first multi-day festival! 🎉

We’ll be serving our signature fresh-squeezed lemonades along with our newly finalized Matcha and Vietnamese Coffee menu at the Hmong National Labor Day Festival 2026!

This event is especially meaningful to me. I married outside of my culture, and my parents moved to Florida several years ago, so my children haven’t had many opportunities to experience what it’s like to be part of the Hmong community. Just the other day I asked them if they were Asian, and they said, “No!” 😂 I can’t wait for them to experience the food, music, traditions, and community for the very first time.

It also happens to be my youngest brother’s birthday weekend! While he’ll be spending much of it helping me at the stand, I’m so grateful we’ll get to celebrate together. ❤️

This event feels a little full circle for me. When I was little, I remembered my maternal grandparents attended this very same festival as vendors. Now, years later, I get to bring my own family and my own business to one of the biggest Hmong celebrations in the country. In a way, I’ll get to connect with my grandparents again and I am so entirely grateful. I miss the weekends I got to spend with them.

🍓 Strawberry Matcha 🍵

Last week our drink of the day was Strawberry Matcha. It’s not officially on our main Menu yet but come to the window and ask for it if you want to try!

Mister Citrus is a huge coffee lover and was my guinea pig through all of my Vietnamese coffee trials. His favorite was always our Pistachio Cream Vietnamese Coffee… until this drink.

He isn’t even a matcha fan, but now he says Strawberry Matcha is the best drink we offer. 🍓🍵
