Hello, Citrus Cart friends!

I wanted to share a personal update. After my recent ER visit, I unfortunately didn’t receive many helpful answers.

Last year, I was diagnosed with Lyme disease. At the time, I experienced weakness that would come and go, but it improved significantly after treatment. This time, I have persistent loss of sensation affecting the left side of my lower body. Thankfully, the ER ruled out immediate, life-threatening concerns, but these symptoms have now continued for two weeks.

I have been referred to neurology, but getting an appointment has been difficult. Balancing my full-time job with my children’s school and daycare schedules has also made it challenging to attend appointments during the week.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend any events tomorrow. I am still hoping to be at the Fondy Food Truck Festival on Sunday, but that will depend on my health and what is best for our family. I’ll keep everyone updated as soon as I know more.

🍋 A little Citrus Cart update 🍋

I’ve been so tired after several back-to-back festival weekends—on top of my normal 9–5 and juggling my children’s new school and daycare schedules—that I haven’t even had time to post!

First, thank you so much to everyone who visited us at Fondue Fest. There were so many amazing vendors and delicious food options, and we’re incredibly grateful that you chose to stop by Citrus Cart. 💛

As for this coming weekend, we aren’t quite sure what our schedule will look like yet or whether we’ll attend the End of Summer Bash or our regular farmers market. I’m currently in the ER being evaluated because the past few weeks have taken quite a physical toll on me.

Please bear with me while I navigate what happens next and determine when we’ll wrap up our season. We’ve had such a wonderful second season, and I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has continued supporting us—especially those who have been with us from the beginning.

I’ll share another update as soon as I know more. 🍋

🎉 Catch Citrus Cart at Fondue Fest this Saturday! 🍋

We’ll be near our usual intersection of Forest Avenue and Main Street—but not in the exact location where you normally find us! Based on the festival map, we’ll be close to FONDUE! and the Fondue Challenge. Keep an eye out for Goldie! 👀🍋

If you’re close/at the Kid Zone, you can also easily access us through the pocket park!

Because vendor fees and operating costs are higher for larger, all-day events, festival pricing will be in effect this weekend. We truly appreciate your support and can’t wait to serve you! 💛

2026 Hmong National Labor Day that’s a WRAP!

Weeks of doing numbers and ordering supplies
1 day of packing
1 night to setup
2 days of selling
1 night to pack up
1 day to unpack (still not done!)

We are beat. Labor day really kicked all of our butts but I’m so proud of my little team of helpers and my wonderful husband always going along with my shenanigans. A big thanks to my parents for flying in to watching my babies. I could not have done it without you guys! It was also my youngest brother’s birthday this weekend. I was sad he had to work but if I didn’t ask him to come help me, I probably wouldn’t have been able to see him. This was the first time in 4 years that I got to celebrate it with him.

Now… on to Fondue Fest preparations!

Thanks to my cousin, Linda for coming by and taking this photo! I did not even have time to think about making posts. Let alone losing my phone every 30 minutes 😅

We had a few drinks left over, so the extras are being delivered to our friendly neighbors! 🥰

Some daily updates as we get closer!!!

We will be stationed on the west side of the food court area. We are also working on something special for the weekend we return to Downtown Fond du Lac!

We are taking our time every day to prepare for our first 2 day festival. So in relation to that, today is a reminder that we will not be at Downtown Fond du Lac for Labor Day weekend (September 5th).

We will however be there THIS Saturday so come see us!!

A note that Banana Cream SELLS OUT every single weekend so please come early if you love Banana Cream or wanted to try it.
