ONE soda bib costs over $100. ONE. That means I have over $1,000 just sitting on the drink shelf.

Long post warning
So I think it’s time that I address a couple things. I want to start off by giving you all some numbers to see if it helps with your understanding of what I’m doing. I’m giving everyone a 34% discount right off the top on Thursdays with the $7.77 Special. Then I’m giving away, on average 10% more in FREE BURGERS. That’s 44% directly out of MY pocket. Right off the top. That’s before we consider any mess ups that we may have, which results in refunds or some sort of free food given. I think we all know that I will handle these things quickly and without hesitation. Please tell me if I’m wrong. This isn’t including the rewards I give away either. So in the last two weeks, I’ve had 2 people come in with their own “tumblers” and refill them with our tea and our fountain drinks. I’m certain there are more that have done it, but these two stuck out to me because I personally caught both of them filling their drinks. One of them after telling me that he paid for a drink, but when I checked the ticket, he did not. And the other one told me how understanding she was that I could only allow her to fill up water, went directly to the tea as I walked back to get cooking on the grill. I sell tumblers for a reason. I’d say the odds are great that other people have done the same thing and I just don’t see them. I know this sounds petty but I need everyone to understand that this is how we make a living. Myself and my employees. And this is THEFT. Plain and simple. Go try doing this at some of the other restaurants. You can’t. Go to other restaurants and see how much they charge you to split a meal?!? A lot of them do. So with all of that being said, I WILL NO LONGER ALLOW OUTSIDE DRINKS IN THE BUILDING WITHOUT PAYING FOR A DRINK!! The B Logo Tumblers will be the ONLY EXCEPTION! Which come with free refills anytime. We sell them for $27 after tax and I will be ordering a new batch asap so I can make sure to have them for everyone to purchase. I really hate to have to do this but if my loyal customers want me to stay around for a while, this is one of the changes that I must make.
