❤️🤍💙This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the heroes who sacrificed their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

We're honored to be part of today’s community event at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery by donating sweet treats for attendees.

If you’re looking for a meaningful way to spend part of your day, the ceremony begins at 11 AM and is free to attend. We’d love to see our community come together to honor our fallen heroes.

A special thank you to the Nevada Veterans Coalition for inviting me to participate once again.

60 years of love. 🤍💎

A few weeks ago, our whole family gathered in Pinecrest, California to celebrate my grandparents anniversary, little did they know we planned a surprise party, and I had the honor of making their cake for the celebration.

My grandma is a huge part of why I fell in love with baking in the first place. Some of my favorite memories growing up were being in the kitchen with her, and now getting to create cakes for moments like this feels so special.

For their cake, I made:
✨ Yellow cake with chocolate frosting(Grandma's favorite)
✨ White cake with lemon curd filling & vanilla frosting

And yes — this cake traveled from Fernley, Nevada all the way to Pinecrest along with lots of other treats for the weekend. 😊

Moments like these remind me why I started baking in the first place - and make me even more excited for what's ahead. 🥰
