There’s something special about small town USA. The way communities rally together, support one another, and invest in the next generation is something we never want to take for granted.

This week, we’ve had the incredible opportunity to serve the teachers and staff at West Fork and Greenland schools, and we are so grateful to be a small part of encouraging the people who pour so much into our kids every single day. These educators are shaping futures, building confidence, and making lasting impacts far beyond the classroom walls.

A huge thank you to Senator Jim Petty for thinking about our teachers and giving us the opportunity to help brighten their day and share in moments that truly matter. Opportunities like this remind us exactly why we started Mi Vida Coffee — to create connection, restoration, and community around meaningful moments.

We also want to give a special shoutout to Little Bean Customs for getting our shirts finished just in time for us to serve these amazing schools. Your support for local businesses and local communities means more than you know.

What’s better than getting the opportunity to show appreciation to the teachers at West Fork Schools for a second week? Getting the opportunity to serve the teachers at Greenland Schools as well.

We are incredibly grateful for the chance to share coffee and encouragement with the teachers who make such a lasting impact on the lives of so many students every single day. These men and women are investing in the future of the next generation, and it’s an honor for MiVida Coffee to serve them.

As I reflect on all that has taken place over the past 6 months I am quickly humbled! The level of love and support is affirmation we are building something that will stand! What started as a vision of Coffee with purpose now has a Frame! As the sun rises in the dawn we are filled with excitement of what lies ahead in the days, weeks and years to come. Today was a special one.

We had the honor of partnering with Pressed Not Crushed Café to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week at West Fork Elementary, and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve the amazing teachers and staff who pour so much into the lives of students every single day.

One moment this morning especially meant a lot to me personally — getting to reconnect with Miss Winn, a teacher who made a lasting impact in my life over 30 years ago. Seeing her smile and hearing her continued passion for teaching and developing children after all these years was truly inspiring. Moments like that remind us why community matters so much.

Teachers shape futures, encourage hearts, and invest in generations to come, and today we were honored to simply help elevate their day in a small way.

These are the kinds of moments we are proud to be part of, and we’re grateful to come alongside Pressed Not Crushed Café in their mission to strengthen our community through meaningful connection and service.

Monday was more than just a delivery. It was a moment.

Our new roaster arrived—another step forward as we continue building Mi Vida from the ground up. With our slab being poured and equipment coming into place, the vision is becoming reality right before our eyes.

But what stood out most wasn’t just the equipment… it was the people.

It took eight men to receive this roaster—eight individuals coming together, working side by side, serving one another with a shared purpose. And in the middle of it all, we had the opportunity to connect with the delivery driver bringing it to us.

He’s on his own journey, stepping into a new chapter, carrying some weight along the way. We got to speak life into him, encourage him, and send him off covered in prayer. What started as a routine delivery turned into something meaningful—tears, smiles, and a reminder of why we do what we do.

At Mi Vida, coffee is just the beginning.

We exist to be part of life’s most meaningful moments—the quiet conversations, the bold new steps, the unexpected encounters that leave people better than we found them.

Last Friday, Pressed Not Crushed Café had the incredible opportunity to partner with Mi Vida Coffee and Arvest Bank to serve the West Fork community in a meaningful way.

Together, we brewed nearly 200 cups of coffee, shared an assortment of fresh breads, and—most importantly—raised $740 for the backpack program at West Fork Schools. This program meets a real need, helping provide food for families and children during times when they need it most.

Moments like this are the heartbeat of Pressed Not Crushed. They remind us that coffee is more than a drink—it’s a bridge to connection, generosity, and restoration within our communities.

To the people of West Fork: thank you for showing up, supporting, and being part of something bigger. To Arvest Bank: thank you for trusting us to partner with you in making a tangible impact.

We’re just getting started. We’re excited for more opportunities to serve, give back, and create spaces where unity and restoration can flourish—right here in West Fork and in every community we’re called to.
