My beautiful wife, Shannon, and youngest son, Chris, delivered an employee appreciation meal in my stead, today to NPPD employees. I received a text later, that the meal was awesome, and was over cooked. I like leftovers.... đŸ˜˜

Gearing up for the Sunday bash in Fairbury, the Museum car show, an exciting fundraising event for the school at on the bricks, and ourselves at J&R's Cones!! It's looking like a great weekend weather wise, and a great opportunity to support your community!! Lots of food choices, lots of things to choose from!!

I've been experimenting with the elusive "smash burger"! I've made two rounds on em, tonight being my best yet. I'm thinking about offering them, on a limited basis, to see how y'all like em. I hear there's a car show in a couple weeks here in Fairbury, and we might try a few out...

2 weeks out from a private cook!! Got a call from Texas, and they want Texas BBq in Nebraska. That's my calling!! We're pretty proud of our reputation, and it's seems to pay off when least expected. The menu is still skittish, but I think brisket is on it.....

Thanks to the flea market visitors, and all of the locals that follow us for a great weekend!! 4 full days of catering, and serving well over 600 meals, on top of all of the preordered items! We are looking forward to next year, it'll be our 5th annual!
