Of course on my husband’s birthday and national one cream day we’re enjoying a maple butter blondie I brought home from the shop!

Heated for 30 or so seconds in the microwave then topped with vanilla bean ice cream…perfection!

They’re in the cooler in the shop and will be available on Tuesday !

I had the great privilege to cater to St. Thomas church today for their Speed Dating Event! They requested a menu to build Asian Bowls for 120 which was a new adventure in recipe development, but I really enjoyed it: Korean Shredded Beef, Teriyaki Chicken, Egg Roll in a Bowl, Jasmine Rice, Steamed Broccoli, and Stir Fried Vegetables, etc. Of course some fresh baked goods made an appearance as well. Thank you, stthomaselkhart for letting me serve you!

Made a few more Ramen kits with my egg noodles. 🍜

🚨Also, a new "just add water" drink mix.... raspberry, blueberry and strawberry burst limeade.

🚨And, a quick and easy Alphabet Soup. Not pictured is a Lemon Herb Orzo pack for a quick dinnertime side.

I grabbed a container of Oatmeal Raisin Cookie ice cream from the shop for this weekend and not so low key kinda wish I had brought home two! 😝 Topped with waffle chips, this creamy vanilla bean ice cream with cinnamon, nutmeg and big chunks of cookie is perfection, according to Ryan. ❤️ (He may be a little biased so you’ll have to try it to confirm!😂)

It’s in the freezer in the shop sling with the waffle chips for you.

How are you?! We've made it through half the week and half this heat wave from what I'm hearing! I hope you are staying cool and hydrated!

Today I spent some lovely time with my cousin and her son from Ohio and we spent a bit of time at the Shipshewana Flea Market...I did not buy any fleas (by the way, today is apparently International Joke Day--I'm not told it has to be a good joke so...😝) Pride goes before the fall so hat hair was not an issue with the hot sun we walked in! This evening we pulled some full frames of honey that hopefully soon I can process 🐝and now I'm getting ready to wrap up the day.

Just a reminder, Saturday we'll be closed but we are open during this week from 9am-3pm. If you have time to pop in there's ice cream and sorbet in the freezer and some other goodies in the shop. I'll be bringing a few things on Friday as well and plan to hang out for a while...stay tuned for some fun item updates!

PS: Please be careful in this heat and check on those around you as well as keep an eye on your furry friends. ❤
