Here are some calendula and borage flowers from from their beautiful garden . I like to sprinkle these on top of my herbal blends to add that flower essence magic, color and to see your faces light up when appreciating their beauty✨
I am elated to announce that I’ll be offering my herbal goodies at One Grub and joining their crew. They’ve grown some of the herbs in my blends, inspire me, have supported me by carrying my offerings in their local market, they nourish our community with healthy delicious vegan food from their garden, they let me film my interview with Telemundo in their garden, they provide a space to connect to Pachamama and share that knowledge, they provide meals for those in need with a pay it forward program, they have a seed sharing station and as I mentioned they carry local goods in their market.
This move feels very aligned and I’m immensely grateful to Adriana & Roman for creating this lovely space and welcoming me into it.
I’ll be there Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-8pm. Tomorrow will be my first day! Come say hello!

I’d like to let everyone in on some upcoming changes. June will be my last month . I’ll be offering my herbal goods at another location and will share that once we have more details. But for now I just wanted to thank everyone in the Chamizal Barrio Community for all your support and how you’ve shaped my herbal practices. I’ve connected with a lot of amazing people here, learned a lot and promise to return occasionally with herbs, teas and platicas🌿
I’m leaning into honoring myself, this calling and expansion. Which is simultaneously exciting and scary but I feel supported and guided. I’m also very fortunate to have friends that have the same community care goals that will be opening their space to me and my offerings.

The quality of our air is only getting worse. Which doesn’t have to be the case but due to The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) protecting the polluters instead of the people, it is. So what can we do?! We can join Familias Unidas del Chamizal and La Union Del Pueblo Fronterizo this Thursday February 10th @ 4pm at TCEQ offices, 401 E. Franklin to defend our right for clean air!

🌿Something else we can do to protect ourselves is turn to plant allies that can help detoxify and support our lungs. I’ve had a larger number of people recently dealing with respiratory issues and lots of positive feedback about this blend.
