Unpopular opinion: the weather is not the headline. Our relationship with God is.

Europe is facing dangerous heat. Parts of the U.S. have seen storms, flooding, hail, damaging winds, and even weather whiplash with snow in places where people expected summer.

We can talk about the climate, the grid, the forecast, and emergency planning — and we should. But let us not miss the deeper question: where are we with God?

I am not calling myself a prophetess. I am not standing here to scare anyone. I am a child of God, a health coach, and a fierce spiritual leader who wants to see people come into the Kingdom.

If God gives me wealth, reach, influence, or open doors, I want to use it to bring souls back to Jesus.

So let us talk: Is your relationship with God where it needs to be? What do you need to surrender? What needs to be strengthened? What has distracted you from prayer, obedience, and purpose?

Prayer of Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. Forgive me, wash me, lead me, and be Lord of my life. I turn from sin and choose You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Baltimore knows how to party.
We know how to show up.
We know how to pack a room, sell out a lounge, fill a section, and make a night feel like a movie.

But here’s the real question:

What if the same energy we use to party became the same energy we use to build?

What if every party became a networking event?
What if every table had a business owner, educator, investor, mentor, chef, therapist, contractor, grant writer, childcare provider, real estate professional, and community leader sitting at it?

Because let’s be honest — some people are coming to these parties not because life is good, but because they need an escape. Some are going home to bills, stress, children who need more support, schools that need rebuilding, and dreams they haven’t had the money or network to pursue.

No judgment. We all deserve joy.

But joy without strategy keeps us in the same cycle.

Baltimore, we don’t just need more parties.
We need purpose-driven rooms.

Rooms where we talk about:
✅ Building schools for our children
✅ Starting businesses
✅ Funding our own ideas
✅ Creating jobs
✅ Feeding families
✅ Investing in Black ownership
✅ Building infrastructure
✅ Connecting nightlife to community power

If you’re not thinking about ownership, education, business, children, land, funding, and legacy — what time are you really on?

The party can still be lit.
The music can still hit.
The food can still be good.
The outfits can still give.

But when we leave, we should leave with more than pictures.

We should leave with a contact.
A plan.
A partnership.
A resource.
A next step.
A way to build.

Baltimore is already connected socially.
Now it’s time to become connected economically, educationally, and strategically.

Let’s turn the party life into a power network.
Because the next Baltimore movement might not start in a boardroom.

It might start in the room where everybody already is.
