Hello, this is Steph.
I will be leaving Mystery Box Games before September 1st. I do not expect the business to continue operating afterwards, but at that point it will not be my decision.
Though the community has grown from where we were when I came in and is amazing right now, there have regularly been unexpected pressures behind the scenes. Therefore for my own sake and for hopefully the true growth of a positive community experience, I will be leaving Mystery Box Games LLC to previous ownership.
I want to emphasize that this is might be the loss of the physical space, but not a loss of the community it has housed. Nothing can take that away. And I hope to continue being a part of the community and organizing for it as much as it is welcomed. I have met so many wonderful people through this, I will hopefully see many of you beyond this as well!
Operations will continue until the 30th, we still have some Magic: the Gathering, Blood on the Clocktower, and a pop up left.
