💕You've probably noticed that things have be pretty quiet from River City Sweets and Treats, LLC and Big Papa Jake's lately. I wanted to give everyone a quick update on what's going on and what's coming up.

A few months ago we found out that our son was going to have to have open heart surgery in Chicago. So we have been in Chicago with him for the past two weeks for the surgery and recovery. He's doing really well and recovery is slow but steady. We're hoping to be discharged soon and I should be back to normal business next week.

🙌🏻Thank you for all the prayers, well-wishes, and messages! It's been a long extremely rough few weeks but my dude is extremely tough and resilient.

🍪Be on the lookout for updates on pre-order porch pickup opportunities and events in the next few days and weeks! I can't wait to be back in the kitchen, baking up some sweetness for you all!
