💥Happy New Year Farm Friends!!!💥
Another year past- how did you live each day?⭐️
We always appreciate this day, it’s a great time to reflect on what has been and where we are going. Our biggest hope is that this past year brought you times of joy and healing, and also good health. ❤️
For the new year, we hope you realize, you have 365 tries to make the year what you want it to be! That’s a lot of hope and chances!
As we focus on what the next 365 chances will bring us we hope to:
🌱Partner with a downtown Waukesha business to host a seed swap on 1/29 and offer seeds of hope to the community encouraging the planting of sunflowers (thank you to a wonderful donor), as a memorial to the people lost and hurt by the parade massacre. We also will have other seeds to share with the community and encourage people to share their seeds and exchange too. And if. You don’t have any seeds to share it’s ok- we teach you about gardening and give you some to get you started❤️
🌸🐝Collaborate and expand our beekeeping opportunities, including obtaining grants for conservation efforts for pollinators, expanding operations and possibly starting a non-profit for beekeeping and mental health.
🦃Grow and raise turkeys to provide an area food shelter with for Thanksgiving.
🌽🥔🍎Expand our seasonal growing operations and partner with a sweet corn operation and area chef to have a corn and food roaster to utilize at markets and area events.
🥫🍭🍪🍫Partner with a commercial kitchen to expand our product line and offer more locally sourced foods.
👨🍳Create business partnerships uniting area farms and farm to table restaurants to provide more food security to families.
❤️Continuing to be a space and resource to those in need. If you need peace, a warm fire, good foods, a listening ear, or an animal fix- we are here for you!!! We feel blessed for all that we have, and we enjoy being a space to help others and share happy memories with- please ask if you need to be with us, we welcome all.
We hope to have our goats be therapy animals and bring them to care facilities in addition to being an inspiration for literacy and encourage kids to be G.O.A.T (Greatest of All Time) Readers!
Also, if you know of people in need of knitted hats, please let us know, as we do knit and can help others!
2022 is a whole new adventure- we can’t wait to share it with you!!!
