We are very excited to host Juan Diaz from for a special event this Friday afternoon. From 1-3:30pm he will be presenting a special Coffee Omakase menu featuring two incredible coffees he sourced from a single producer—Edinson Argote in Oporapa, Huila, Colombia. Edinson grows a number of interesting varieties of coffee at his farm Quebradita.

For the Omakase, Juan is sharing an Advanced Fermentation Washed Typica and an Advanced Fermentation Natural SL-28 (which he used at the Colombian Barista Championship this year). He and our team will prepare 2 coffees 3 ways: in a milk drink, with freeze-distilled milk, as a shot of espresso, and as a pourover with the origami dripper.

Stunning coffees just landed in Durham from Singapore! we love them so much. The Nicaragua Finca Libre is tasting lovely on filter and that Gesha is really special—we’re featuring it on the first round of and have a few bags on the shelf too.

Christmas came early this year! This all-star lineup from is on its way to our subscribers and Kieni is shining with Very Berry Fruit Punch notes as our new International Filter. Its no secret that Copenhagen’s Coffee Collective is one of my favorite roasters—I’ve carried their tote bag every day for years. These are all so good and we have a few bags of each on the shelf at ! Come grab a few for last minute stocking stuffers!

These beautiful coffees went out to our subscribers and are available in our cafe as of today. All four are tasting fantastic. Thanks for another lovely lineup . If you’ve been with us for a while, you know that I credit Belleville’s head roaster with Yonder’s existence. It was her encouragement about 6 years ago that planted the seed in my brain for this subscription, so it feels extra special to share the coffee she roasted with you as we get closer to celebrating our first birthday as a cafe.

Reunited and it feels so good!
This month’s subscription feature hails from Galway, Ireland. .coffee has roasted some of our favorite coffees over the years and we’re very excited to be bringing them back on (and getting to serve their coffee at for the first time). Their coffee (like their illustrations) have so much character and are loads of fun. I still think about an Ecuadorian coffee they roasted for us a few years ago all the time. This batch will include some fresh African and Guatemalan coffees that are sure to knock your socks off. It’s good craic and we can’t wait to share them with you!
