It's Wing Wednesday!!

What are we calling this... Christmas BBQ? No there is no pine or hint of sugar cookie (come on now), but there is a taste of nostalgia that just hits you in your soul. Really, the Star Anise is the star of this show but she's also right at home at a Southern BBQ.

Just trust me and try it.

This week we're serving up pulled pork on a hoagie with avocado spread, melted cheese, shredded lettuce and a side of honey mustard for pouring or dunking.

Stay with me here, because it makes all the sense. This conglomeration of ingredients ends up being a tangy, creamy masterpiece. And it serve as a side of your choice.
