Did you know that many wine names are inspired by the places where they first gained recognition? 

Take Riesling, for example– the grape's earliest documented record dates back to 1435 in Rüsselsheim, Germany, near the famed Rheingau wine region—widely recognized as the birthplace of Riesling. Who knew every glass could come with a little history?
