Last Thursday’s Phase I Grand Opening Block Party couldn’t have been more perfect. The community come together for a night in (and above) High Water Alley complete with games, live music and even ziplining. Thank you for celebrating with us, and here’s to many more celebrations ahead!

Big news: Phase II construction will start next year, bringing a grocery store, Pins Mechanical Co., 300+ apartment units, hotel and more to the neighborhood. After a successful Phase I, we can't wait to continue bringing this new Downtown destination to life.

It’s time to start planning your staycation: The Junto Hotel is now officially taking reservations starting this June.
The Junto will be more than a hotel: it’ll be a gathering place for the community and travelers alike, hosting spaces for the neighborhood to work, meet, and relax. Here’s what’s coming:

🔸Maudine’s Coffee Shop, serving up cups to hotel guests and community members

The latest episode of our construction update series has us seriously excited because The Peninsula is looking more like finished product than work-in-progress. It’s hard to believe that just two years ago, this was a sea of surface parking lots. Safe to say we’re digging the improvements. 😎 🏗️

Here’s what’s new on The Peninsula:

🚧 Streets will be completed this Fall
🚧 Residential leasing has begun, with the first residents to move in this year
🚧 The office building is complete and welcomes workers daily from Deloitte, Burgess and Niple, and Insight Global
🚧 Junto Hotel is taking shape with construction on schedule to be complete next Spring
🚧 Parking garages are adorned with three spectacular murals.

Public art on The Peninsula is preparing to take flight. A sculptural work, featuring a flock of illuminated starlings, will adorn the garages at the intersection of Rush Alley and Starling Street. This centerpiece will be complemented by three murals, all inspired by the Scioto River.
