l started in May of 2000, and with a love for southern cooking, Hog Heaven was born and opened in a small 16-seat restaurant on Front Ave. Initial response was so strong that everyone knew right away that this concept will blow up! Within the first year, the Front Ave. location was expanded to seat 40 indoors and 12 outdoors. There was still not enough space for the customers in search of our southern style BBQ. In July of 2001 another Hog Heaven restaurant was opened in neighboring Dover, Ohio. This restaurant & bar accommodated 80 customers indoors, providing cold beer and great southern BBQ meals. With good friends, live music, cold beverages, and a vacation atmosphere, the Dover location was expanded to seat another 80 people outdoors. Still people could just not get enough! In January of 2003, the BIG ONE was opened. A 180 seat Hog Heaven restaurant located right off the I-77 exit in New Philadelphia, Ohio. The original small Hog Heaven closed its doors to welcome the new facility. By the spring of 2003, the new location was accommodating 180 customers indoors and another 150 outdoors in the tiki bar area. Soon this became the areas premier spot for a great meal, join in on large events ,and congregate with friends and family! The rest is history and we are still going strong and making continuous improvement to provide all of our guests with an even better experience every time they join us! Hog Heaven is a great supporter of fundraisers for children in need and local organizations within our tightly knit community! We love to support those who support us!
