We're excited to announce the 2025 Common Ground Country Fair poster design, Belgian Draft Horses!
This year's artwork by Katherine Noble Churchill, features two draft horses, livestock important to sustainable farming methods. From moving heavy equipment to plowing fields for planting, draft horses offer farmers an alternative to fossil fuel powered machinery.
“Each year, I look forward to attending the Common Ground Fair, enjoying the animals, crafts, music, and delicious organic food. My favorite part has always been watching Chris Lombard’s demonstrations of human/horse communication and connection. Now and in the future, I hope to see people enjoying the continual process of learning to develop communication and athleticism in the horse for both riding and working on the farm.” says Noble Churchill.
