The bones are up!!

A month ago we were pouring the foundation.
Today the steel went up for Blue Sun Brewing Company.

Watching the crane set the beams and the frame come together was a big milestone for this project here in DeWitt, IA.

What started as drawings and dirt is now a structure rising that will soon be home to craft beer, great food, and our kombucha. Most importantly, a place for people to enjoy each other‘s company.

Grateful for the crews helping bring this vision to life. More progress to come. ☀️

After years of brewing small-batch kombucha, Blue Sun realized we had a vision that would soon outgrow the four walls of our small garage.

You may have heard of our kombucha and tried it at local brewpubs and farmers markets, but we are excited to share our craft kombucha, beer, and food – from the comfort of our own taproom.

Big things are happening in DeWitt, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
