Mezcal won Best Margarita again. Our parents ran a small restaurant in Guanajuato where nothing left the kitchen unless it was right, and a margarita is where that gets tested, because everyone has had a bad one. Smoke, earth and oak. Three pours, three expressions of agave, one night in Midtown. Mezcal Detroit hosts an agave tasting on September 9th: mezcal, sotol, and reposado tequila at 1.5oz each, paired with a charcuterie board built for lingering. $40. DM to reserve.
