Some moms give you recipes. Some give you traditions. Some give you the courage to change your life entirely.

Before Sweet Cooie’s was ever an ice cream shop, “Cooie” was the mother of our founder and CEO, Paul.

At 23 years old, she packed up her life in Chicago and moved to Colorado alone after a family vacation sparked something in her. She saved every penny she earned that year and took the leap.

Decades later, at 91 when Paul asked her if she was afraid to die, she answered:
“No sweetie, it’s my next great adventure.”

That spirit became part of everything we built.

As Sweet Cooie’s begins its next chapter as Little Man Ice Cream, we wanted to take a moment this Mother’s Day to celebrate the woman who inspired it all…her warmth, her courage, her sweetness, and her belief that there’s always another adventure ahead.

Here’s to the moms who shape us long after childhood. 💐🍦
