❤️ Hello and welcome 😉,
Since we have new people in the group… I have decided to introduce myself.
My name is Shannon and I am the Chef/Owner of AbbyRose Culinary Services, LLC. I started baking in the kitchen as a small child with my grandmother and growing up I loved to watch my mom cook and to help her with whatevChef Gordon Ramseyhen I was a teen… I was excited to re create Gordon Ramsay’s recipes for my family and to receive feedback on how the meals were. I felt brave and daring trying to re create such complex recipes.
I cooked in the church kitchen as a young adult cooking a lot of meals and serving food at least once a month for the church members.. sometimes more depending on if there was an event that month.
I decided to follow my passion for food/cooking/baking/ and learning by joining Culinary School.
I graduated culinary school in 12/2014 and I graduated with my Bachelors in Culinary Management from The Art Institute of Colorado.
I started AbbyRose Culinary Services, because I was blessed with a baby girl who has non verbal autism.. her name is Abagail Rose.. hence the business name “AbbyRose”. I started the business as a way to provide for her and to show my love and passion of baking and cooking to others.
I started Abby Rose Culinary Services primarily as a meal prep service and I began this company in 3/2019. The company evolved into meal prepping, catering, baking cakes, baking wedding cakes, baking cookies, baking cheesecakes, and teaching one on one classes.
I also started this business with the hopes that one day… she will be able to take over the business and to be able to be a business owner herself in the event something happens to me… she could provide for herself and show her love of baking and cooking to others. She loves helping in the kitchen currently… I can, but I cannot wait until she gets older and watching her love for cooking and baking grow.
Since then I have gained a lot of hands on experience in a variety of foodservice jobs. I had the great experience of opening my own little bakery inside of a local restaurant in Casper, Wyoming. Although it didn’t work out past the grand opening day.. I’m still greatful for what I have learned (I learned so much) and how to do better next time.
I love and appreciate all of the support in helping my business grow! And thank you for taking the time to read… if you got this far. 😀
(P.S. Sorry it’s a long read) 😶
