Meet Elway’s Front of House Manager, Chris Messler. Born in Jupiter, Florida, Chris moved to Colorado in 2001, settled in and made a life for himself in the world of restaurants. Prior to his tenure as sommelier and server for 7 years at Barolo Grill, Mr. Messler proudly served as the Wine Director and General Manager of the Palace Arms at the world famous Brown Palace in Downtown Denver and holds his level 2 Sommelier Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers.

Chris is passionate about family and travel, and loves Italy, in particular, for its food, culture, and wine. A proud new father of his 3-month-old baby girl, Marion, Chris has been married for 6 years to his lovely wife, Caitlin.

When it comes to service and his guest’s experience at Elway’s, Mr. Messler wants patrons to “feel comfortable just walking in the door”. His goal is for a “seamless” presentation of your dinner at Elways’s, from the beginning to the end, showcasing the “best food, best service, and best experience” you’ll enjoy anywhere. Be sure to say, “hello” to Chris the next time you visit us for dinner. There’s nothing he appreciates more than hearing from our guests on their way out about how good their dining experience was. As Chris says, he “could literally listen to comments like that all day”. See you soon!
