This little table started out rough.

I picked up this coffee table for free from a neighbor and it definitely showed its age and need of some TLC— she needed a good clean, some serious gunk scraping, and a light sanding just to get it to a place I could even work with.

Instead of buying anything new, I challenged myself to spend $0 and just use what I already had.

So this is the “in-between” version:
🖤 Cleaned, scraped, sanded, spackled a bit
🖤 Painted the legs copper
🖤 Black frame spray painted
🖤 Temporary contact paper center applied

It’s not finished, just on pause while I figure out where to go from here—and this is meant to be something I can easily change in the future—but I love seeing how much something can transform with just a little effort, creativity and a questionably large stash of arts and crafts supplies I have accumulated through the years (decades if I'm honest 😂 Cathy Rivers you taught me well)

What should I do to camouflage the seam in the contact paper in the middle of the table?
