My kitchen has been a happy whirlwind of activity lately, as I’m busily crafting and completing all your fantastic custom orders. But I simply couldn’t resist hitting pause for a moment to gush about one particular creation that has absolutely captivated me!

Behold, a show-stopping 8-inch almond heart cake! Honestly, it's so enchanting, I feel like it practically speaks for itself. The inspiration behind this beauty was truly unique: my amazing customer envisioned a 'boogie pink cheetah' theme, and you know how much I adore a fun, creative challenge like that! It was pure joy bringing such a wonderfully wild and whimsical idea to life.🐆💖

To make it truly unforgettable, we topped it with a cheerful pink 'Happy Birthday' message, framed it with a perfectly playful pink border, and then added some adorable black bows for that extra dash of charm and contrast. Hey everyone! 👋🏻

Gosh, where does the time go? It honestly feels like ages since I last popped in here, and boy, have these past few weeks been an absolute whirlwind! Between getting the kiddos geared up for school, stocking up on supplies, and just generally settling back into the chaotic but wonderful routine of the academic year, things have been pretty wild around here. My kitchen felt like a distant memory for a bit!

But guess what? I finally managed to sneak in some dedicated baking time, and I am absolutely bursting with excitement to show you what's just come out of the oven! Get ready to feast your eyes on this creation – I've been busy whipping up an epic, custom 6-inch tall, beautifully sprinkled Fortnite-themed birthday 🖤cake! It's loaded with fun and ready to make someone's special day extra memorable. What fantastic news to kick off the new week! I'm absolutely thrilled to announce the triumphant winner of our recent school cake challenge: a huge round of applause and congratulations go out to none other than Doyle Elementary! Their enthusiasm truly shone through. 🐅

To celebrate this awesome achievement, I happily baked up a special, custom-made treat just for them! It's a delectable two-layered vanilla buttercream sheet cake. Naturally, we had to showcase that incredible Doyle Tigers spirit, so you'll find their proud emblem featured right on top, beautifully bordered by vibrant purple and gold piping that wraps all the way around. It's a truly delicious and visual tribute to their win! 🥇

So, I had a recent "client" whose vision was, shall we say, minimalist. All I received was a very specific request for a 6-inch marble cake, unequivocally themed around John Wick. No Pinterest boards, no elaborate descriptions – just the character. This meant it was time for me to do my research hat and dive deep into the world of action heroes and their notorious accessories.

I poured my heart into this creation! The cake itself became a sleek, all-black canvas, setting the perfect moody tone. I then meticulously added an edible image of the man himself, John Wick. But the real fun was in the details: I spent time a couple hours painting those iconic gold coins and bullets, and even crafted mini guns to truly complete the scene. Every tiny element was carefully considered and executed to bring the theme to life.

After all that effort, I was genuinely excited to present my masterpiece. I was picturing a big smile, maybe even a little gasp of awe! But when the moment of revelation arrived, I was met with... a remarkably composed, almost stoic expression. My initial thought was, "Wow, after all that work, *that's* the reaction?" I was about to playfully demand my payment for services rendered when the hilarious truth clicked into place. This incredibly discerning, difficult-to-impress client was none other than my very own 12-year-old son! 👦🏻

Just wanted to share a little peek into what's been cooking in the kitchen lately! Even though I've temporarily hit pause on accepting new orders, I'm still happily working my way through some fantastic existing requests. And let me tell you, this latest one is an absolute stunner!

Get ready to feast your eyes on this magnificent 8-inch quadruple chocolate cake – it truly feels like a work of art! This particular beauty was whipped up especially for a wonderful young boy who has a serious passion for rocks 🪨, and we had so much fun bringing his love for geology to life in cake form.

Inside, you'll discover layers of incredibly rich triple chocolate cake, generously filled with decadent chocolate ganache, all lovingly enveloped in a smooth, silky chocolate buttercream. And of course, to complete our rocky theme, we just had to adorn it with some super cool edible chocolate "rocks" and a luscious chocolate drip cascading down the sides.

Just wanted to give you all a little peek at the incredible creations still coming out of my kitchen! Even though I've gracefully bowed out of taking on new orders for now, the oven is still buzzing as I work through my last few fantastic commissions.

This week, I’m super excited to unveil an absolutely show-stopping 8-inch, three-layered marble cake. And, I have to admit, when I first saw the design request, I had to do a fun little deep dive into the gaming world to figure out this super cool symbol! Turns out, it's the iconic emblem from the game, Overwatch!🎮

For all you dedicated gamers out there, especially those who love a good virtual battle, this cake is an absolute power-up! For anyone who might not be familiar, Overwatch is a hugely popular, fast-paced first-person shooter game known for its vibrant characters and intense team action.

We had a blast bringing this theme to life! The top of the cake proudly showcases the instantly recognizable Overwatch logo, meticulously crafted from smooth fondant. To add a dynamic touch, we’ve included a bold, vibrant orange drip that cascades down the sides, perfectly complemented by sleek black piping framing both the top and bottom edges. Hi everyone! 👋🏻

Just wanted to share a little update and some recent sweetness from my kitchen. Even though I've hit pause on accepting new custom orders for the time being, I'm still bustling away, happily working through all the wonderful requests already on my schedule! My ovens are definitely keeping warm over here.

And speaking of delightful creations, I simply *had* to show you this absolutely charming cake I recently finished! This adorable 6-inch almond cake, adorned in the prettiest shade of baby pink, was such a joy to bring to life. I was genuinely thrilled with how the design came together – featuring the cutest little chicken 🐔 details nestled among delicate flowers. It just radiates that perfect 'all-girl' magic, and I think it turned out beautifully! 💖

Hey everyone! 👋🏻 🎂

I wanted to share some news with you all that's been a little bittersweet for me to put into words. As many of you know, my passion for baking cakes and making your special occasions a little sweeter was something I could happily juggle thanks to my part-time work schedule, especially having Fridays free.

Well, life has presented me with an exciting new chapter! I've been offered and gladly accepted a fantastic full-time position at my job. It’s a wonderful opportunity that I just couldn't pass up!

The upside is, it's a great move for me professionally. That means my precious Saturdays and Sundays are truly becoming sacred family time. My daughter is absolutely thriving with her cheerleading, and we often have competitions on the weekends. My son is also super active with sporting clays, and his matches happen on weekends too. Being there, cheering them on, and not missing a single one of their performances or achievements is incredibly important to me. My heart wouldn't be able to handle missing out!

So, after a lot of thought and a heavy heart, I've decided to hit pause on taking cake orders for the foreseeable future. This wasn't an easy decision, but I really want to be fully present for my family during this exciting time in their lives.

For anyone who has already placed an order and paid your deposit – please don't worry one bit! Your cake is absolutely confirmed and will be made as promised.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to every single one of you who has supported my little business dream. Your encouragement and custom have meant the world to me. It's been an amazing journey, and I’m so grateful for all of you!
