❤️ A Little Life & Business Update… and a much overdue photo dump! 🍋🧀
I realized I haven’t posted or updated this page nearly as much as I used to, but that certainly doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy behind the scenes! I’ve been blessed with some incredibly loyal customers who have continued to reach out and trust me to be a part of their special events, so I thought it was time to share a few pictures and a little update on where life has taken me lately.
In March, I lost my mother. ❤️ Since then, life has looked very different.
My grandmother has moved in with us, and getting to spend this season of life with her has truly been such a gift. We’ve been making memories, spending quality time together, and adjusting to our new normal.
I have continued doing a few smaller events for some of my wonderful, loyal customers, and I plan to keep doing grazing tables and The Citrus Press—just on a more limited basis. I’ll be taking a select number of events as my schedule allows.
One thing I didn’t expect after losing my mom was how different some of these events would feel without her. She was so often there helping me, riding along, or simply being by my side. There are moments when doing the things we used to do together is just hard. ❤️
At the same time, this season has also brought me back to another huge part of who I am—my love for working with seniors and those living with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
Many of you know that I am a certified dementia trainer, and I also provide Life Enrichment training for senior living communities. I have the opportunity to train senior care professionals, fire departments, police departments, families, caregivers, and really anyone who wants to better understand and support someone living with dementia.
That work has me traveling quite a bit these days—but never too far away! 😉
So, The Citrus Press and my grazing tables aren’t going anywhere. 🍋🍊🧀 They are simply becoming the fun, creative side of my life again, and I’ll be choosing events that fit into this new season.
To everyone who has continued to call, book, recommend me, check on me, and support my little businesses even when I haven’t been posting—thank you. Your loyalty has meant more than you probably realize. ❤️
