While much of the city of Dearborn is without power, we do have two generators. One designated for our Retail store and Wholesale building and one for our Production building so we can continue to keep all of our products nice and cold! We have always made food safety a top priority here at Dearborn Sausage. Stay safe out there everyone.

We currently have two shifts Monday-Saturday: AM Shift is 6AM-4PM, PM Shift is 4:15PM-2AM.

1) Starting pay of $12-$16/hr for entry level positions. Experienced food processing employees will be judged on their abilities and paid according to their talents, experience, and performance (Starting at $15/hr).
2) Shift Premium of an extra $1/hr for afternoon/night shift.

It is with great sadness that we announce Ursula Bollman (better known as Uschi) has passed away. Words, even the very best of words, cannot pay tribute or truly capture the sense of loss that we are all feeling today.

The loss is there, tangible, and real within everyone…but Ursula exemplified living life to its fullest, love, and laughter.

So today we at the Dearborn Sausage Eastside Store honor her, by profoundly feeling and expressing our loss, but also by remembering Ursula – an absolutely amazing person who has played a unique and special role in all of our lives!

We will always remember Ursula as a beloved colleague, but she was so much more than that. She was a special friend to many of us as well as our customers. Many would come to our store hoping to see Ursula buzzing around. She had a gift that when she smiled, it made you want to smile right along with her. Ursula took pride in her work and expected the same from those around her.

Uschi,
We will remember you with all your special nuances and our memories from all the days we were privileged to share with you. Today we will grieve for you, and cry for you and even smile because of you.

You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. May you rest in peace.

The Kosch/Meier Families as well as the entire Dearborn Sausage Family are extremely saddened to hear about the passing of Alyssa Gray (a former employee from our Retail Store). Alyssa was well liked by her fellow coworkers and our customers. If you knew Alyssa, you know she lived for her two beautiful children. Our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.
