Tonight I decided to give takeout—and my wallet—a break.

Instead of eating out, I cooked a homemade Southern dinner for my family:
✨ Stuffed Pork Tenderloin with Smoked Boudin Sausage
✨ Slow-Cooked Collard Greens with Turkey Neck
✨ Black-Eyed Peas with Ham
✨ Oven-Baked Candied Yams
✨ Sweet Buttery Cornbread

I even used AI to enhance my food photos, and I have to admit...they turned out pretty good!
There's something special about gathering around a home-cooked meal. It fills more than just your stomach—it fills your heart.
Sometimes the best restaurant is your own kitchen.

2025 has truly been a season of blessing for From the Heart Catering and Event Design.
God showed me that when I ask in faith and truly believe, He responds in His perfect way. I prayed for two events per month—some months He blessed us with three, and other months with none at all. Yet through it all, I reached my goal of 25 events in 2025, reminding me that God’s timing is always intentional.

To my team—thank you for standing with me, growing with me, and pushing through the challenges together. Your dedication, support, and love made every moment worth it, and I could not have done this without you.

To our clients—thank you for trusting us with your most meaningful moments. I pray that you and your guests truly felt our From the Heart service in every detail.

As we step into 2026, I don’t know exactly what the year will bring—but I do know this: we will continue to follow God’s lead, one step at a time
