King Cake in September? ⚜️It happens.⚜️

Last week, between travels, I baked King Cakes two days in a row—an annual birthday order in custom colors 🩷💜 and then a full-sheet-size for a retirement party!

Some say King Cake is “out of season,” but on Friday I saw them stacked up in New Orleans stores getting ready for the Saints games they said! 🏈

There really is no bad time for King Cake. 👑💜💚💛

After helping so many people celebrate last week, it was my turn.🥳 🫣

I’ve been putting in the miles—New Orleans ✈️ to Oklahoma🚗—for a little family time and birthday celebrating along the way. 🎂

And before I forget (it happens at this age I'm told 😉)… Neighborhood Fave voting ends this week! I’ve been incredibly blessed to be voted a Fave every year since opening.If you haven’t voted yet and would like to, I’d be so grateful! ❤️

Okay… if you’ve made it through all those cakes without developing cake fatigue, you’ve earned the grand finale. 😂

The last orders weren't cake at all — they were cupcakes! 🧁 I had mixed cupcake boxes from all the other flavors and dozens on display for a local 70s birthday party! 🪩🕺💃The toppers provided by the birthday gal were authentically 70s.✌️

Two for Tuesday! 🍫🍫

I love all the sweet messages on the last chocolate cake! My post should have been a tale of three chocolate birthday cakes, because there were two more from this past weekend.

This one kept it classic and simply frosted with a little piping and a pop of orange. 🧡🥳

Starting Monday with a little humor…😂

Gene’s sister ordered this fun birthday cake for her brother last week, complete with a few happy cupcakes. 💩🤣 She chose Chocolate with Chocolate Ganache. 😉

I’m just hoping Gene has as good a sense of humor as his sister! 😂
