Taco Tuesday? That's cute. We're doing TOT TUESDAY. 🥔

Today we’re back in the kitchen doing what we do best: making perfectly good food unnecessarily complicated. :)

Our latest stuffed-tot creations?

🧅 Onion.
🧀 Cheese.
🍄 And an ENTIRE cheese-stuffed mushroom.

Because simply putting a mushroom inside a tot would be too easy…

We carve out the mushroom stem, stuff cheese inside the hollowed center, then build the tot AROUND it.

The result?

Crispy, golden ’tude on the outside.
Gooey, cheesy, juicy mushroom goodness on the inside.

Our taste testers have spoken. These are READY FOR THE MASSES.

While aliens are apparently choosing the summer of 2026 to make their grand entrance, we’re doing our part to make frozen, factory-made, freezer-burned tots a thing of the past.

Fresh, homemade and never frozen. Because some food really does belong in the EX-Files. ;)

We did a little taste test today here in Dade City and got possibly our favorite review yet:

“𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘂𝘀.”

We’ll gladly accept that as the truth. 😎

Because here’s the thing: we don’t just make the tots from scratch. We make the sauces too!

Old Smokey and his hammy companion here start with our crispy, golden homemade tater tots, topped with slow-roasted BBQ pork and accompanied by our homemade BBQ sauce.

The one pictured here was made to order at a private catered party because we don't pull frozen tots out of a bag and spoon bottled sauce on top of them.

We put in the time to make it fresh.
And apparently, we make ridiculous sauce. 😂🔥

With football season almost here, we're now accepting bookings for private parties, tailgates, game days and events. We can customize pricing by event, per person or per menu item depending on what works best for your crowd.

🏈 You bring the team.

𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝗜𝗧'𝗦 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗢𝗧𝗦!

Class is officially in session, and for today’s lesson we're showing you how our homemade tots get made.

At The Tottery, our tots don’t arrive frozen in a bag ready for the fryer. We start with Real Idaho Russet potatoes and put in the peeling, prepping, shredding, seasoning, shaping and TIME it takes to make every batch from scratch.

And sometimes, we like to experiment. 😏

Today's round of Tot School included:

🥓 Turkey bacon tots
🌭 Hot dog-stuffed tots
🥟 Tot stickers (Yes, tots that look like pot stickers)
🥔 Homemade kettle chips
🔥 Our classic tots
🤏 A ridiculously cute micro tot
🍳 And even a hash brown for extra credit

Why go through all that work when frozen tots exist?
Because factory-made ain't in our DNA.

We believe you can taste the difference when food is made from scratch, and all that prep, experimenting and potato-infused labor is what helps put the ’tude in our tots.

Fresh potatoes. No chemicals or preservatives. No shortcuts. That's how a tater tot should be.

The Tottery never uses factory-made cylinders that have been processed, frozen and shipped across the country. Ours are freshly seasoned, hand-molded beauties whose only "burn" is in their spice - never freezer burn.

You can even see the difference before they ever hit the fryer. Real potato strands. Real texture.

Factory-made frozen tots (what you're served everywhere you go) are built for consistency and long shelf life. Ours are built for "Roll 'em up. Drop 'em in. Get in my belly... now."

𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸.

No, this isn't a regular menu item - but it is an example of what happens when we start asking, "What if?"

Here at The Tottery, we love pushing the limits of what a tater tot can become! This special request had us double-dipping a corndog, wrapping it in pickles, surrounding it with homemade tater tot mix, and frying it into something we've never seen anyone else attempt.

A little crazy? Maybe. Delectable genius? Absolutely!

This is how innovation starts.

Forget everything you know about tater tots.

Ours aren't frozen - 𝗢𝗥 𝗜 𝗗𝗨𝗛 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 - poured out of a plastic bag. ;) But they sure as heck ain't an afterthought.

The Tottery is HOMEMADE tater tots. That means crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and loaded with combinations your taste buds might not be ready for.
