Thanks to everyone who made this our biggest weekend yet! Locals, flatlanders, slopers, critters, and all the wonderfully questionable characters in between — you’re helping make the Crown King Depot dream come true!

We had great food, fun specials, big laughs, cool weather, and enough shenanigans to keep the train rolling.

And hold onto your steins… the next month will be wild!!

The mountain air is cool, the pines are calling, and the Crown King Depot is ready for another weekend of good food, cold drinks, great friends, and a whole lot of mountain-town fun!

This weekend, we’re excited to welcome the Mavericks group to Crown King! We’re happy to host some of their crew in our Sleeper Cars, where they can park themselves for the night after enjoying all the fun around town. 🛏️🚂

And now… we have a SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! 🎺

🚂 ALL ABOARD! YOUR WEEKEND PLANS HAVE CHANGED😂

If you’re looking for a reason to escape the heat and head up the mountain, we’ve got a few good ones!

And if you have a little too much fun at the Depot… 😉 we’ve got Sleeper Cars available for overnight stays! 🚂🛏️

Come hang out in the railroad yard, play some games, sit on the deck, enjoy the cool pine forest, and watch Crown King do what Crown King does best—have a good time! You can even pub crawl down dusty Main Street!

Basically, you can come for the food… stay for the drinks… play like a kid… and sleep in a railroad car.

Seems like a perfectly reasonable weekend to us. 😜

A Little Breakfast News 🚂☕

So sorry, folks! We won’t be serving breakfast at the Depot this weekend because Chef Bill is taking a well-deserved vacation. We can’t blame the man for needing to get off the mountain for a spell!

But never fear—Chef Bill will be back next weekend, rested, recharged, and ready to fire up the kitchen with some great bottles in the morning!

🚂 ALL ABOARD, FOLKS! 🚂

This weekend at the Crown King Depot, we’re mighty pleased to welcome back some old friends to take the throttle while Tommey & Bill are off gallivantin’ elsewhere! Shelley's back as stationmaster and would love to see old friends!!! We have Kyle and Lisa T in the kitchen, and "meat bee" Lisa serving cocktails!

So come on up the mountain and let the good times roll! We’ll have our usual hot & delicious pizzas, hearty paninis, and dawgs, along with cold b**rs and fancy cocktails being slung by the bartender.

And why head home when you can sleep it off in one of our cozy sleeper cars?

The weather is cool, the food is hot, the drinks are cold, and the good times are rolling down the tracks!

Recently, the Crown King Depot had the pleasure of hosting a reunion of high school friends who spent many unforgettable weekends making memories here back in the 1970s. It was wonderful seeing everyone together again, sharing stories, laughter, and a few reminders that some friendships never fade.

Now it’s your turn. Gather your family and friends, head up the mountain, and make some new memories of your own. Enjoy our handcrafted pizzas, delicious paninis, famous Sonoran dogs, ice-cold b**r and cocktails, then relax on our beautiful open-air wraparound deck while you soak in all the sights and small-town charm that make Crown King such a special place.
