Canale Bros Italian Ice

Canale Bros Italian Ice Homemade Italian Ice! CBII was started in the summer of 2010 in Crested Butte Colorado. I purchased a batch freezer and started making "water ice".

I wanted to use real ingredients instead of syrups and concentrates. The result is much closer to sorbet than water ice. I now use only organic cane sugar in all my ices and feature at least one completely organic flavor daily. I make all the ices myself in the Dogwood kitchen and store them in a freezer behind Teocalli Tamale. I pedal the ices in a pedal cart in Crested Butte and love it.

Wow! The bike race today in Crested Butte was awesome. The peaches pictured below are local and organic from Palisade Colorado. They make possibly the "creamiest" Italian ice in the world. No cream needed, just a little organic sugar and water! Thanks again for appreciating my ices.
