I love my staff, I love my community, and I am full to the brim with ideas for 2026.

In the next two weeks or so, we will be launching our rebranding for the cafe. The business will have a new name and new logo, but we will be the same. I'm here like I've always been, and with the collaboration of my team, we'll keep creating cool drinks and events 6 days a week (maybe soon to be 7???)

You could also drink a coffee, or better yet, drink some tea & read a book. Our baristas are very very nice most of the time! They even appreciate your corny jokes and silly banter.

Introducing our "Journey to the West" menu drop.

🥥 Sun Wukong's Cloud - A drink fit for the Monkey King himself. Caramalized palm sugar, coconut cream, pandan, supercharged into a whip and topped with a ristretto shot of Vietnamese espresso and toasted salted coconut. So thick and creamy it tastes like ice cream.

☀️The Princess Rama - House made rambutan syrup, passion fruit syrup, espresso or matcha, sparkling water, and rambutan fruit.

People ask all the time what the difference is between an espresso, macchiato, cortado, cappuccino, and latte! Big companies like Starbucks have really destroyed the definition of these drinks for consumers, but most specialty coffee shops have a standard for what these drinks are.

The short and sweet answer is milk to espresso ratio. Each of our drinks comes with a double shot of espresso and different amounts of steamed milk - from just a dollop of foam to 10 whole ounces of milk.

The cafe broke a sales record this weekend! $400 dollars in sales in the peak hour, $300 dollar hours each hour after that. In coffee numbers, that's a whole lotta lattes & a lot for our small bar to handle.

Thank you to all of the attendees. You were patient and kind to the staff while they worked through the craziest rush they've ever experienced.
