After getting a good night’s sleep and giving my aching body a chance to recover, I finally have the words.
WOW. Litchfield, you absolutely blew us away.
Art in the Park became the busiest day in Gypsy Bowls history. Our highest-selling day ever. It’s hard to put into words what that means to someone who started this business with a dream and a whole lot of hope.
One of my favorite parts of the weekend wasn’t just the record-breaking sales—it was the conversations. So many of you stopped at our window, and many of you came back again (and again!). I heard countless people thank us for offering food they could actually enjoy, whether they were vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, feeding picky kids, or simply had sensitive stomachs. Creating a menu that truly has something for everyone has always been at the heart of Gypsy Bowls, and hearing those stories reminded me exactly why we do this.
I also need to brag about the incredible people in this photo.
These amazing women—and my husband—worked long hours on very little sleep inside a trailer that was well over 100 degrees for two straight days. Through every rush, every long line, and every challenge, they never stopped smiling. They never stopped encouraging one another. They kept the bowls flying out the window, kept the teamwork strong, and somehow kept the laughter going, too.
Because of their hard work, we celebrated the biggest day Gypsy Bowls has ever had. I couldn’t ask for a better crew, and I am so incredibly grateful for every one of them. ❤️
Thank you to the Litchfield Watercade committee for inviting us to be part of such an incredible community celebration.
Thank you to every single customer—whether it was your first bowl or your fiftieth—for choosing us this weekend.
And finally, thank you to my Gypsy Bowls crew. You are the heart of this business, and this milestone belongs to all of us.
What a weekend. What a team. What a dream come true. ❤️
