So, it's time for our big announcement....
Cooper's Dish is closing at the end of the summer.

Jake and I are moving this fall to open our new restaurant-- Oasis, on Little Corn Island, Nicaragua. It will be a Caribbean-Mediterranean restaurant partnered with a retreat hotel, on a big hill full of mango trees in the center of paradise. Last week, we went to visit the space and meet with the hotel owners. It felt like every sign pointed to yes, and we really feel this is the right next step for us.

Running Cooper's Dish these last 5 years, and opening our storefront 3 years ago, has been the most fulfilling and exciting adventure of my life, and I can't thank this community enough for the support that kept us going through all the ups and downs. Running a restaurant has taught and humbled me in so many ways, and made me realize how much we all depend on each other as a community. I really hope to find a buyer for this place that wants to keep the dream alive, and I'll do what I can to make that happen.

We will be open regular hours all summer, and the delivery service will continue until we sell as well. I know that many of you have become attached to our recipes, and so, we've decided to give them to you. Any recipe you want, any Cooper's Dish item you can't live without, just ask and I'll be happy to give you the recipe. We're going to try to make some recipe videos as well, for our holiday favorites.
